Upon arrival in San Jose, Costa Rica, you will be met by our representative at the airport and transferred to the San Jose Marriott. Spend the next two days white water rafting the Pacuare River, ranked as one of the top five rafting rivers in the world for its scenery and rapids.
Then it is off to Palmar Sur on the Osa Peninsula, one of the most remote yet fascinating areas of Costa Rica. Enjoy archeological hikes on Cano Island, and snorkeling in waters that house a multitude of fish, countless brittle starfish, sea urchins, and two endangered species, including the giant conch. Next, depart for a jungle hike in Corcovado National Park, the last remaining Pacific lowland rainforest in Central America. Located on the Osa Peninsula, Corcovado is the crown jewel of a world-renowned national park system, which includes thirteen separate ecosystems, almost one thousand species of trees, and nearly four hundred species of birds.
Bid the Osa Peninsula farewell as you fly to Quepos, where you will spend the next two nights. Here you can spend your days touring Manuel Antonio National Park, located right on the ocean, or taking in the sights. At the end of your time, you have the option to join an experienced nature guide on an informative hike through beautiful Manuel Antonio National Park. Return to the San Jose Marriott for your final night before departing beautiful Costa Rica.
