DAY 1: Santiago - Arrive in Santiago. Stay at the Hotel Rugendas, a 4-Star boutique hotel that is located in a quiet area in Las Condes, but close to the Metro and within walking distance to bars, banks, restaurants and clubs.
DAY 2: Temuco - Fly to Temuco. Few landscapes can equal the beauty of the Lake District, where volcanic cones, blanketed by glaciers tower above deep blue lakes, ancient forests and verdant farmland. Overnight in Hotel Antumalal.
DAY 3: Temuco - Ascent to Villarica volcano. This beautiful mountain has a classic volcanic cone crowning the surrounding countryside. The volcano has erupted repeatedly during the last century. The most recent eruptions being registered in 1971 and 1984. Despite its continuing activity, Villarica is the most climbed peak in southern Chile. Overnight in Hotel Antumalal.
DAY 4: Temuco - An active day beginning with white water rafting down the lower Trancura:The Trancura River is born high in the Andes and pours its crystal blue waters into the Villarrica Lake. In the afternoon enjoy a 3-hour horseback ride in the Cordillera del Cani, a private forest reserve. Conclude your evening at the Huife Hotsprings at sunset. Overnight in Hotel Antumalal
DAY 5: Puerto Varas - Transportation to Puerto Montt then drive 16 kms to Puerto Varas. Overnight Hotel Bellavista.
DAY 6: Punta Arenas/ Torres del Paine - Fly to Punta Arenas. Drive to Cascada Ecocamp inside the famous Torres del Paine National Park. We will make short stops in the township of Puerto Natales and in the enormous Cueva del Milodon, a giant geological wander that once sheltered a prehistoric sloth. Overnight at Cascada Ecocamp at Las Torres.
DAY 7: French Valley – Valle del Frances - Transfer to Pudeto to board the catamaran which crosses Lake Pehoe. Today the trekking goes up to Campamento Italiano and will continue with a round trip to Mirador del Frances one of the most spectacular cirques in the Paine Range. Overnight at Refugio Pehoe.
DAY 8: Pehoe - Grey Glacier - We’ll hike about four hours from Refuge Pehoe to the northern end of Lago Grey. Board the boat which sails alongside the face of Glaciar Grey. We will have ample time to marvel at this calving glacier before the boat crosses Lago Grey. Overnight at Cascada Ecocamp in Las Torres.
DAY 9: Torres del Paine ( Ascencio Valley) - An all day hike to the foot of the impressive granite massif of El Paine where the towers rise majestically before us, and the glacial lake is visible below: one of the most scenic sights in the world! Once back at the Ecocamp, a farewell dinner is honored with a typical Patagonian lamb barbecue. Overnight at Cascada Ecocamp.
DAY 10: Punta Arenas/ Santiago - After breakfast, board the vehicle back to Punta Arenas on time to catch your flight back to Santiago. Arrive in Santiago.Reception at the Santiagos 's airport, transfer to your hotel. Overnight Hotel Rugendas.
DAY 11: Santiago - Departure to Almaviva Winery to begin wine tour. Along the wine tour you will encounter a mix of the indigenous Mapuche culture of Chile with the tradition and elegance of the Rothschild’s from France. Arrive to the hotel in Santiago and overnight at Hotel Rugendas.
DAY 12: Atacama Desert - Fly to Calama. Arrive in Calama and drive 98 km to San Pedro de Atacama. You can enjoy the wonderful landscape with views on the amazing Moon Valley and cordillera de la Sal. Arrival at Awasi Lodge, an intimate boutique hotel made of stone, adobe and wood where you can enjoy the basic details of simple life.
DAY 13: Atacama Desert - Atacama Desert, in the far north of Chile, is the driest place on earth. The volcanoes that crown the Atacama Desert are among the tallest on earth and their summits used to be sacred sanctuaries for the ancient Incas. Overnight in Awasi Lodge.
